Hello from California! I am sitting here at Snooze with my daughter Teria and granddaughter Skye. From what I’m told, Snooze is always crowded, and you usually find yourself having to wait like we did for 45 minutes.
I ordered the Pancake Flight with blueberries
which were fluffy, light with a sprinkle of blueberries inside the pancakes. After readying my fork and knife to dive into
my pancakes, I took a few bites and found that they were ok.
Teria had the French Toast Neat, made with toasted brioche, topped with whipped mascarpone
and fruit which she enjoyed.
Skye’s dish was the had the OMG!
French Toast made from a brioche stuffed with mascarpone, topped with vanilla
crème, caramel, strawberries and toasted coconut. As you
can see the presentation was pleasing to the eye but wasn’t quite enjoyable.
Overall,
it fell short of all the hype that Teria and Skye had been hearing. Our server was either overworked with a lot
of tables or distracted with what I would have no idea. We had to ask for silverware, napkins, water
and finally ask another servicer to bring us our bill. Was it busy, yes so be prepared.
