I love tea and therefore I jump at the chance to go to a teahouse. We ventured down to The Grand Tea Room because my daughter Teria has been there a few times and she thought that I would like it, so off we went on a Friday afternoon accompanied by my granddaughters Skye and Cherokee.
Our server
Julisa had a positive attitude and was muti-tasking other tables at the same
time. We were served tomato basil soup,
creamy and delicious. We also had salad,
fruit cup as well as garlic and parmesan on thin sliced bread. The bread was so good we placed another
order. Afterwards we had shepherd pie,
cream scones, apple scones, cherry scones; cucumber, chicken and egg salad
sandwiches; pumpkin cakes, millionaire shortbread and apple truffle with
crumbled cinnamon, all quite tasty.
Our
reservations were for The Grand Tea Time which is $40 per person and you have a
two hour teatime, but you will be able to eat, relax and enjoy it all during
the time that you are allotted.
