As I walked in I noticed on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, I noticed the newspaper wallpaper, an old fashioned cash register, old pharmacy bottles, a relic red coke cola machine, an old safe that you would see in westerns or during a bank robbery and other dated items, yet it all belonged.  

Watson'a  began as a drug store in 1899 making it the longest running business in Orange, California and it is a landmark and is known as California's original soda fountain.

The atmosphere and the food are great.  You feel as if you are stepping back in time.  The The decor as you can see is from the 40's - 50's.  Watson's even appeared in a few movies because of the way it is decorated.  The soda fountain makes you think that the Fonz is about to appear, ayyy!  I came back another time and was sooo disappointed that they ran out of ice cream because I wanted another malt.  Do you see my sad face even now?  That malt was so so so so one more time, so good!  Which means that the next time I am in California I owe it to myself to go early three times.

You can sit inside or outside and watch as people stroll along.  Great inexpensive dining experience and an enjoyable time with the staff and the customers alike.
