“The higher the clouds, the finer the weather” and indeed it was. My daughter Brandy and I were looking for a place to have lunch in the Inwood section of Manhattan and she chose this restaurant.
Iiana, was the only waitress at this time and she had several other tables to wait on, yet she didn’t fail to check and see how everything was and if we needed anything else. Brandy’s dish was the chicken scampi with linguine. The menu says shrimp scampi, but she requested chicken instead. I had chicken francaise with linguine, seasoned with garlic and oil. Both dishes were good.
Il Sole has a relaxing atmosphere and good customer service plus live jazz every Thursday from 4:30 – 7:30 pm.
